PWD Welcomes Minister for Works, Housing & Water Resources
On 10th January 2025, the Public Works Department (PWD) had the distinct honor of hosting the Hon. Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, Minister for Works, Housing & Water Resources, at our Head Office in Accra.
During the visit, the Acting Engineer-in-Chief, Ms. Glory Nana Yaa Nartey, delivered a comprehensive briefing that highlighted PWD’s mandate, flagship projects, and key initiatives. The discussion covered areas including:
- Government Estate Management
- Infrastructure Maintenance
- Engineering Consultancy Services
The Hon. Minister applauded PWD’s longstanding commitment to maintaining public infrastructure and pledged his full support in resolving pressing challenges faced by the department. His visit reaffirmed the government’s confidence in PWD’s role as a strategic pillar in Ghana’s infrastructural development.
As Ghana’s premier government maintenance institution established in 1886, PWD continues to champion excellence in public infrastructure delivery.
