PWD Advances to Semi-Finals After Thrilling Penalty Victory!

The Public Works Department (PWD) football team has once again made history at the 2025 Civil Service Inter-Ministerial Games!

In a tense Quarter Final match against the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, the game ended 1-1 after full-time and extra time. Ernest of PWD opened the scoring in the first half, but the opponents quickly equalized to keep the tension high. The second half saw incredible energy and determination from both sides, but no additional goals were recorded.

With the score still tied after extra time, the game went into a penalty shootout. It was here that Gaskin calmly netted the first penalty for PWD, and Martey sealed the victory with the winning kick, bringing the final penalty score to 2-1 in favor of PWD.

The pitch erupted in celebration as PWD booked their place in the Semi-Finals of the competition. The team continues to show resilience, teamwork, and winning spirit.
